I had an interesting thought today about reward systems which are currently in place for leaders and how valid are they? I know I have covered this in a previous entry but it deserves another mention. At present from what I can see leaders are getting too much besides those who are too honest and are happy to settle for less. These pays don't warrant the effort which is put in. The effort comes from those who perform the duties and not so much as from the leader. I think Ricardo Semler was right, the pay should be determined by the employees and not that by what the leaders / directors believe is right.
